Is payment processing required to use PortaPro?

No. Payments are optional and can be turned on when you are ready. Setup is straightforward, and your team can keep running dispatch and invoicing as-is.

What payment methods are supported?

Customers can pay by major card or ACH, and you can enable autopay for recurring accounts. All methods run through the same invoice flow.

How are payment fees handled?

Stripe charges 2.9% + 30 cents per successful card transaction at its standard rates. PortaPro adds a platform fee on top, per your plan — there's no separate monthly fee just for turning on payment processing.

How secure is the payment system?

Payments are processed by Stripe with PCI Level 1 security. Card data is handled securely and never stored on PortaPro servers.
